The scope of work included rehabilitation of the façade, blade sign, marquee and entry of the Uptown Theater, Grand Prairie. Storefronts were removed and new storefronts were constructed using new plaster and masonry. Some new structural work was required. The existing marquee and blad sign was cleaned and restored to reflect the original appearance. The neon was also restored and new digital chaser controls were added. The soffit of the marquee was repaired and restored using historic steel panes as required. Interior work included the demolition and renovation of walls, ceilings, doors, and wood stage. New stage lighting, seating, and a wheelchair lift were included.
